Round 1 - 26/04/2009 The
boys played their first game of the season but unfortunately
lost 10-3. They put in a great effort for their first game
together as a team. The fact that they played more than half of
the game with one less player on the field did not help our boys
but they played a great game regardless. The three goals scored
were derived from a real team effort.
Round 3 - 09/05/2009
The boys played a fantastic game on Sunday and made their mum’s
truly proud for Mother’s day. After kicking the first goal of
the game it was obvious that it gave them the confidence to keep
going and they did. It was also great to see that winning this
game allowed them to gain a lot of team spirit which is also
just as important as winning. The boys scored 8-1 and showed us
that if they work together and continue to build confidence that
their skill can only continue to improve throughout the year.
