Pascoe Vale Soccer Club is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with Woodstock Classic Roman Pizza, with its logo proudly featuring on the front of the senior playing shorts, Front shirt of the NPL Youth teams for the 2015 National Premier League Victoria season.

Woodstock Pizzicheria is a showcase of traditional Sicilian Italian food. That tradition has been passed on to the owner Tony Cannata, from his family, since their migration to Australia dating back to the early 1920’s.

The success of Woodstock Cucina, located in Fitzroy (Melbourne), has allowed Tony Cannata to open the new Woodstock Pizzicheria in Brunswick, and soon to open the third Pizzicheria in Essendon, enabling patrons to experience his passion for pizza and simple Southern Italian food.

The Woodstock Story

Pioneering wood fired pizza in Melbourne The Original Woodstock is a family institution serving Melbourne the best in wood fire pizza and homemade Italian food since the 1990′s.

With three generations involved in the family business, the Woodstock family have been sticking to a recipe of freshness, originality and tradition for almost 20 years. As pioneers of Wood Fired Pizza in Melbourne the restaurant has been recognised as an icon with numerous awards and industry recognition since opening it’s doors in the 1990′s.

Stepping inside, the Woodstock interior transports you back in time, and takes you to another location, back home to Italy or perhaps a New York restaurant from the 50′s. The walls are adorned with family photos and famous friends’ pictures, red and white table cloths line the tables and there’s even a Fiat in the back. A more tasty feature in the main dining room, is our wood fired pizza oven, the first in Melbourne.

If you’re looking for a menu, forget it, each morning our mama in her late 70′s no less, heads off to markets around Melbourne to source the freshest ingredients for that night’s menu. Whatever is found that morning is prepared for the lucky guests that are delighted and surprised night in night out. It’s the way it was done back home in Italy and the way it has continued in Melbourne from the start. To find out what’s cooking you need to come down and try it out for yourself.

Woodstock Pizzicheria

Continuing the tradition that makes the original Woodstock such an Icon, the new Woodstock Pizzicheria has been created as a fresh new venue for our customers to enjoy our food.

The culmination of a dream come true for Tony and two years in the making, Woodstock pizzicheria is an exciting new restaurant aimed at customers who want to eat the best in Italian food in a family friendly atmosphere with a touch of style.

Tony’s travels through Rome,Bologna and Sicily have influenced the design and decoration of the restaurant from the smallest of details such as the wall tiles, crockery and marble bench tops right down to the terrazzo floors.

The idea is to showcase the old and the new, bringing elements of the original Woodstock that made it so great to this exciting new venture. Fresh Italian food that is authentically cooked is the cornerstone. We mix that with service from our friendly, welcoming staff sure to make you feel like you’re in Italy; all without having to leave Melbourne.

This stunning new venue showcases all that is good about Italian homestyle cooking and food. It values and honours the traditions that made the original Woodstock such an icon and looks to the future to begin a new and exciting step in the Woodstock story.
