There’s a new-found confidence at Pascoe Vale and Green Gully, with both sides entering this contest on the back of three-match winning streaks.

Since taking over in Round 9, Green Gully coach Bob Stojcevski has worked wonders to lift a side which was at rock bottom, but the trip to Pascoe Vale is always a tough one.

The Vale have kept clean sheets in their past three wins and are quite content to sit back and defend a lead, rather than chase more goals. They ended Oakleigh’s unbeaten run in this fashion two weeks ago, so Green Gully can’t afford the defensive lapses it has had on numerous occasions this season on Friday night
