History
The Pascoe Vale Soccer Club (PVSC) was formed in 1965 and joined the VSF (FFV) in 1966 by a group of immigrants from the town of Nizopole. The club was used as a vehicle to keep the community together and offer comfort for the many immigrants that proceeded to follow. Pascoe Vale soccer club has carried the name ever since, and still you would find many members from that original team/committee come to watch games today.
After many years of battling to find grounds the club found a home at Cole reserve in Cumberland road Pascoe Vale, it was to be a tenant for a while and it was here the Club formed its first Junior Team. As the club grew and moved up the divisions and through strong community involvement a change in venue was needed and then the club Moved to Richards reserve, this venue experienced some great moments namely the 1984 Championship.
Realising that Richards reserve was not up to standards and the availability of Hosken reserve, the club once again through strong community involvement and local council managed to become permanent tenants in 1990 and has been our home ever since. This venue has seen some great moments namely the 1992 and 2008 Championships. It is here where the club has excelled with the Junior boys and girls programs and really become a totally inclusive Club and going from strength to strength and one of the Largest clubs in the North West region with strong council, local government and FFV relationships in place.
You could walk in the Club today and be impressed by the Many flags that are on offer from all our teams, however perhaps its truly greatest achievement is that it is proudly diverse!
