This year will see the club celebrate its 50th anniversary since its inception in 1966, a feat we are proud to achieve as we continue on our path to new heights as a community and a football club.
The significance of such an achievement has encouraged us to bring together our past and present to celebrate as a community what we have seen before us, and what we aim to strive for in 2016 in beyond.
In addition, we thought this year would be the ideal time to make some changes to our brand through the re-naming of our club, and the crest we wear with honour as part of our plan moving forward.
Crest representation
The 'fearless' Ram
The symbolism of the Ram resonates powerfully with the heritage of our club's founding members, and depicts the culture of the club, one who wants to create its own path and leap into new opportunity without hesitation, but with fearlessness and defiance.
The Ball
A part of our founding crest, the traditional-shaped ball ensures that we carry the legacy and recognise the contribution of our past members and players over the last 50 years, as we continue to explore new horizons as a football community.
Re-naming
We have decided to re-name ourselves the Pascoe Vale Football Club from the original Pascoe Vale Soccer Club. The subtle change allows us to acknowledge the positive direction in which ‘The World Game’ is moving in this country, yet still enables us to shout ‘C’mon Paco’ from the top of our voices in the terraces.
We look forward to celebrating a landmark year with you all through our various events and on match days in what we hope will be an even better season than 2015.
