TRAINING WITH YOUR CITY - MELBOURNE CITY FC

Melbourne City FC and Pascoe Vale SC proudly presents training with your city.

On Tuesday 31st March at 6pm Melbourne City will be attending Hosken Reserve.

Melbourne City's star player Connor Chapam will be attending the training session on the night together with Manchester City's projects manager Gareth Hughes.

The special training session for Pascoe Vale SC's U7-U11 sub-youth will be prepared by Melbourne City's assistant coach and PVSC's coaching ambassador Lucian Trani.

About CONNOR CHAPMAN

At 19 years of age, Connor Chapman is a talented young centre back who has future Socceroo written all over him. The former Newcastle Jets player has represented his country at under-17, 20 and 23 youth level, captaining the Australian Institute of Sport during the 2011/12 NYL season and appearing at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
One of the young defender’s greatest footballing moments was in July 2013 when he appeared for the A-League All Stars against Manchester United. Chapman joined Melbourne City FC in May 2014 and was signed for his size, speed and defensive nous as a young player.

Connor has been instrumental for Melbourne City in season 2014/15 with his return from injury being a catalyst for the teams good form.

Lucino's association with the Pascoe Vale Soccer Club commenced in 2008 as Head Coach, when the club was in the Victorian State League Division Two.

His role was to set out a 5 year plan and guide the club through a period of growth, from the club’s juniors through to the Senior Team.

The year was a great success where the club gained promotion to the Victorian State League Division One and established a structured framework for its junior program.

In 2009 Luciano took on a role in the A-League as Head Assistant Coach for Wellington Phoenix for two seasons and in 2011 moved to Adelaide to accept a role as Head Assistant Coach with Adelaide United.

During this time, Luciano maintained an advisory role with the Pascoe Vale Soccer Club.

In June 2012, Luciano returned to the club as a full time Technical Director, overseeing the progress of both the junior program and also assisted in guiding the Senior Team to promotion to the Victorian Premier League, completing the 5 year plan set out in 2008.

He returned to the A-League in 2013 as Head Assistant Coach of Brisbane Roar, however, currently still maintain an advisory role at the club as Coaches Ambassador.

As Coaches Ambassador he will assist the club in an advisory capacity, during this exciting new era. Luciano will continue to assist the club's junior program to deliver the National Curriculum successfully and continue to develop players for the club’s Senior Team now and in to the future.
