PVSC NPL YOUTH COACH LACHLAN ARMSTRONG APPOINTED BY MELBOURNE CITY.
Pascoe Vale Soccer Club is delighted to announce NPL Youth coach and SAP trainer Lachlan Armstrong new appointment as Melbourne City NPL Youth coach.
The club would like to congratulate Lachlan on his new appointment with the Melbourne City NPL Youth and a great start to season 2015.
In 2015 Lachlan will also continue to coach PVSC NPL Youth U14 team.
A former professional footballer with playing experience in Scotland, Australia and Malaysia, Lachlan has an excellent foundation of practical football knowledge to underpin his coaching qualifications. With over half a decade of coaching experience across senior levels, he has decided to pursue his passion with AFC, developing youth players and laying the ground work for their success in the future.
Lachlan joined NPL club, Pascoe Vale Soccer Club in 2014 as an U13 and U16 boys coach, after a number of years as the Coaching Director and Coach at Essendon Royals Soccer Club. In 2013, he coached the Essendon Royals Soccer Club U15 boys' team to the Victorian State Championship and was also recognised with the FFV's Coach of the Year Award. Comming off the back of championship success Lachlan coached PVSC NPL Youth U16 to NPL Champions in 2014.
Lachlan has completed all the community pathway coaching courses and in terms of the advanced pathway, the FFA 'B' License, FFA 'C' Senior and FFA 'C' Youth License. Most recently he has gained accreditation to deliver the FFV’s Skill Acquisition Program and FFA A License.
