Pascoe Vale's under 14 Girls side continued its pre-season with a 2-1 win against WNPL Calder United's under 15 side on 14th February.

The young Rams were not intimidated by their older opponents and fought hard to find their way back into the match, despite going behind early on.

PVFC's U14 side rallied in the second half, and were rewarded for their efforts when Isabelle Swift levelled up proceedings from the penalty spot.

PVFC's womans co-ordinator Owen Swift reported "the team showed teamwork and determination which is at the heart of every PVFC team from the under 7 through to the seniors" he said.

Jessica Welsh left it late to convert with less than five minutes to play to confirm a confidence boosting win, leaving coaches and players satisfied at the final whistle.
