Under 9 Panthers

On Sunday we travelled to Sunbury to play Sunbury United FC without our head coach.  There were nervous looks on a number of our players faces when they saw the size of Sunbury’s number 13 and I’m sure flashbacks of last week’s game came flooding back.

Our players held tough and took the field in perfect formation.  Before long we were running the ball forward, switching play and scoring the first goal.  The first of many for the game.  Our defence was strong and lead by Ethan, Jamie, Isaac, Angelika, Anthony and our super goal keeper Jessie who did not let one single goal in all game, well done Jessie.

We had a number of goal kickers lead by Liam with 3 goals and multiples to Andre and Alec and Anthony.  Betty played an outstanding game moving the ball forward and creating a number of opportunities.

Congratulations to Isaac for a great game and a well deserved Captaincy for next week’s game, well done Isaac.
